You choose 5 cards. Heroes charge emberstar. Then you assaign 15 points splint between the 5 cards. Giving each a 1-5 level boost. Want more shield then boost the card to level 5, faster reload boost it, cooldown, etc.Each character also choose 1 of 3 master modifiers, 2 need to be unlocked. They modify specific abilities.During each match you spend and earn credits.

Unlike Overwatch it REWARDS you for capure points and moving the siege cart with credits as a frontline, healing as a healer, etc. Finally a game rewards team play. You spend credits on 16 different upgrades, with 3 levels each. The 4 categories are defense, utility, healing, and offense.Problems are extreme character balance issues, if a team chose 'correctly' it can be mitigated. Most of the time teams refuse to do this. No main healer, no tank, no sniper to kill the other teams sniper, etc.

Make a healer a glass cannon that carries the team and watch your teammates spam you with party invites to congratulate you for choosing damage over healing. This game has a very welcoming community that helps new players feel like they playing smite or rainbow six siege. Post game lobbies are filled with kind words and new friends. This game is a must buy annually, totally worth the thousands I've spent.
