The Sims 4 Expansion Packs
The endless forest download. This is the scenario: my kids have the sims 3 game, we have it installed on two different PC's, when I am using the main PC they take the CD and play it on the other. My daughter wanted the seasons expansion pack, so I bought the download version for them, and after I finally figured out how to download it via the origin app it would not install, said the sims install was corrupt and could not continue. Now, I would like it installed on the other PC anyway, since that is the one they play it on the most, but I can't find the file it downloaded so I can take it to the other PC. The other PC is a slower wireless connection to the net, and I would like to avoid downloading it again of possible - first off, will it let me download again? Is there a place where the file is downloaded to, so I can put it on a usb stick and try installing on the other computer?Do I have to purchase another copy of Seasons for than pc, and re download it?I am wishing now I would have ordered the disc.thanks in advance.

On the PC it should be under C:/Program Files/Electronic ArtsFor Origin it goes to C:/Program Files/Origin GamesNote: It's Program Files (x86) for my 64 bit systemI think the reason why it's showing up as corrupted might be because you didn't install the base game with Origin.By the way, you can add any EA games, including Sims 3 games, you have to your Origin account by selecting the 'Origin' option at the very top of Origin and then 'Add Game.' From what I know, you can download the games you own as many times as you want. Thanks & Thanks Ellenser & PamI eventually figured it out, on the PC I downloaded it too it was all under a folder called 'the sims 3 seasons' under the C:Program Files (x86)Electronic Arts folder, so I copied the entire folder structure to my daughters PC and ran the install execuatable in the install folder, and despite the chat support person on EA telling me if I downloaded to one computer it would not work on another, it did. However I had to install origin and get the Sims install on that PC patched to the latest update first, then it went tickety boo.Now I'm assuming it will work on the main PC as well, once I figure out the problem with the base game. On both PC's they were installed from the purchased CD, so tomorrow when I get time I'll log in with Origin again from this PC and see if I can get the patch to download & install.
If you feel like you’ve exhausted all that The Sims 4’s base game has to offer, then don't worry: the fun is just beginning. While it doesn't have as many game-changing extras as the rest of the series, there are some pieces of DLC that are well worth checking out, both among its larger expansion packs and smaller game packs.
